Joey Pickavance of Systemgolf has the privilege of providing golf instruction and coaching to several tour players. This has been especially rewarding and has allowed his philosophies and swing instruction to become tour tested and proven. The technique in providing golf instruction to our tour players is very precise and detailed to the smallest degree. These are top world class competitors and their livelihoods depend on their ability to perform at the highest standards. It is very rewarding to have these players stay with our program and trust in our golf instruction system.
Some of our touring professionals are seeking sponsorship programs to assist them in their final quest and qualifying to the PGA Tour. These are our mini tour players who compete on the various satellite tours and enroll in the annual PGA Tour Qualifying Event. Yoko Yamagishi – JLPGA Yoko is a long time Japan Ladies Professional Tour member and player. She has two victories on the JLPGA since working with Joey in 1994. Yoko lives in Fukui Japan and is winding down her playing career to begin a family. She comes to stay and work with Joey several times a year. Yoko is fully sponsored at this time by Callaway Golf, JAL Airlines, and Le Coq Sportif
Carlos Corona – Gateway Tour Carlos is a member of the Gateway Tour in Phoenix Arizona which is one of the largest and most popular mini tours in the nation. Many players graduate from here to the nationwide and main PGA Tour. It is a solid proving ground for aspiring touring professionals. Carlos has several top 10 finishes and a victory on this tour. He also qualified for the Nationwide Soboba Championship by shooting a 66 to qualify and then proceeded to make the cut in his first Nationwide event and finished T-50. Carlos has an equipment sponsorship with Cleveland Golf and is currently seeking additional sponsors to assist with his 2010 professional schedule.
Josh Williams – Nationwide Tour Josh was a member of the Nationwide Tour in 2007 and is now competing in various mini tours and playing in the open qualifying events for this year’s Nationwide Tour. After failing to secure his card after 2007, Josh has been working with Joey to improve his ball striking and return to form. Last year he advanced to the second stage of PGA Tour qualifying and is looking to have a breakout year. Josh has an equipment sponsorship with Cleveland Golf and is currently seeking additional sponsors to assist with his 2010 professional schedule.
